What is the Indie Author Forum?

The BookLife Indie Author Forum is the essential conference for self-published authors and those looking to explore the various paths in the ever evolving and expanding world of self-publishing. This one-day, virtual event allows current and future indie authors to tap the expertise of Publishers Weekly and BookLife for industry insights and the most up-to-date information on how to best publish and market their books to reach their individual goals.

What is the price to attend?

Early bird tickets (through February 12, 2023): $97
General admission (February 13–24, 2023): $127

Register as a Bookseller, Librarian, Library Board Trustee/Member, Friend of Library Organizations or a Member of the Media for free. Do students get a special rate?

Yes! Students enrolled in a two- or four-year undergraduate program and graduate students receive half off the regular price. To get your promo code for $63 student tickets, contact eventsupport@publishersweekly.com.

How do I access BookLife's Indie Author Forum?

You will be sent your login credentials a few days prior to the show’s start.

What if I am not able to view all of the presentations?

We got you covered! While the live experience will include one-on-one connections, the conference presentations will be available for on-demand viewing. On or before Wednesday, February 22, you will receive an email with details on how to access the videos after the live conference.

I am a member of the press. How can I claim my complimentary pass?
